I wanted to put this up just after my Open House in July, since I had taken pictures of all the projects my customers made that night…..and really what is a stamping blog without pictures?? So, here we are at the end of August and I am finally getting this post up. I do have good reason though for being so pre-occupied……I’m planning a wedding!! So, needless to say my stamping business has been put on a bit of a back burner until we secured our date and venue. I am happy to say that we are getting married May 21st, 2011 at Orchard View here in Ottawa :)

So here are a few pictures of the cards the ladies made at my Open House;

These 2 cards feature one of the NEW sets in the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalogue (IB&C) – Artistic Etchings! Other new items – Cherry Cobbler & Early Espresso Card Stock & Early Espresso 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon. The base of the card is not a new colour, but a returning colour…..Baja Breeze!! I was so excited when I heard that this colour was returning! I came up with this colour combination (Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze, More Mustard & Early Espresso) using my brand new Colour Coach! I originally had a different layout for a swap card but it was my good friend Amanda that took my card and made a few changes….I loved it so much I used it for my Open House.

These 2 cards feature another NEW stamp set from the 2010-2011 IB&C…..Friends Never Fade. I also used another brand new colour – Marina Mist card stock and classic ink pad. Add in some Dazzling Diamond glitter, Whisper White taffeta ribbon and to create the background they used one of our brand new textured impressions Embossing Folders – Vintage Wallpaper (I LOVE this folder). All of these folders are used with our Big Shot! I can’t take credit for this card as I received it as a swap card – a combined effort from my 2 good friends Chrystal & Sherida!
